2. Lauren and Lindsey interview Mr. Vreeland about his hybrid car. He has a Toyota Prias, but there are other Hybrids on the market. The turning of the wheels create electricity. While driving slowly it runs entirely on electric power and the engine is silent. When going up hills the electric and the gas motor both give power and it manages this easily. He gets 50 miles to the gallon and has saved a lot of money on gas.

Erin spoke about the dependancy of animals on the rainforest, the pollution fighting quality of the trees and medical wonders. They disappear at a rate of 80 acres a minute.

Marina saved the life of a Canada Goose which had a torn wing with gang green. "My thoughts changed from my needs to those of the goose"
