Folk Plus airs Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on WJFF following NPR's Car Talk.
Saturday June 19, 2004
Today's Folk Plus presented a treat for area listeners. I've had a pneumonia-like condition rendering me unable to plan or speak well enough for a proper programme. Answering a plea for a week of respit was Rich Warren of WFMT in Chicago, taped a special show and priority mailed it to WJFF studios for today's airing. I sit home happily recovering and doing what I love - listening to quality folk music.
This was somewhat like having an amazing meal, and not having to cook. Thanks Rich! www.midnightspecial.org
