Hanukkah (the festival of lights) is the story of standing against oppression for what you believe in, and not surrender rights and identities.
This 8 day holiday serves as a memory to the end of the Greek rule over a Temple in Jerusalem. It's a victory of religious

Yesterday on Friday Forum, Christine Ahern had an update on the progress in the struggle to get order to the devastated Gulf Coast. College student from our area, Malcolm Hardy, called in from Pass Christian Mississippi.
