Delaware River Reopens After Bridge Removal

Dunmore, PA – The Delaware River, which was closed between Damascus and the Skinners Falls Bridge on April 7, 2025, for the removal of the Skinners Falls Bridge, has been reopened, according to PennDOT. Aids to Navigation (ATON) are in place and will remain until the project is complete this spring.

Motorists can stay informed about road conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. This free service, available 24/7, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to over 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA can be accessed through a smartphone app, by calling 5-1-1, or via regional X alerts.
