The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation hosts Beyond Become an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Spring Workshops at Great Camp Sagamore in Raquette Lake, New York for women 18+.
On May 30-June 1, 2025 they host Beyond BOW: Beginner Fly Fishing Bootcamp one-on-one instruction from Cari Ray- FFI Certified Fly-Casting Instructor alongside BOW instructors. Learn the basics of fly casting and fishing while immersed in the beauty of the Adirondacks.
Introduction to equipment, casting, flies, and fishing techniques. Includes angling opportunities to target wild, native Brook Trout on the fly.
