Mamakating Environmental Education Center in Wurtsboro, NY is presenting Common Birds At Your Feeder on Saturday January 3, 2026 from 1:00 – 2:30PM, Participants will learn some easy ways to identify common birds by sight and sound. Following the slide show, practice identifying the birds visiting our bird feeders at MEEC. We will also introduce you to Cornell’s Project FeederWatch program, a fun way to contribute to Citizen Science. Before you leave, learn about the different types of seed and the birds they attract. Make a simple bird feeder to take home!
