Lake Superior State Park will open to the public for picnicking, boat rentals, and swimming starting Memorial Day Weekend and continue to operate every weekend through the end of June from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Daily operation commences June 21 through September 1. Hours of operation are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday–Sunday and 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, subject to weather conditions.
