On Saturday May 14^th at 1pm, the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) hosts the latest Arm-of-the-Sea production, “DIRT: THE SECRET LIFE OF SOIL” which asks the question, where does food “come from” and from what is it made?

The production fuses cutting-edge science and age-old puppetry, taking audiences on an extravagant journey of discovery into the Great Underneath—revealing the epic alchemy of plants, the fungi’s dance, and the microbes’ herculean labors.

With a run time of 55 minutes, DIRT features live music and a myriad of puppet figures ranging from 12” to 12’ tall. It reminds earthly residents of all ages how profoundly essential the ground beneath their feet is.
