A free New Year’s Day concert featuring Catskills-based musicians Joelle and River takes place Thursday, Jan. 1 at 4 p.m. at Roxbury Abbey in Roxbury. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.

Joelle and River are a musical duo blending Classical, Hip Hop, Caribbean and Latin music traditions.
