The Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program (AWSMP) holds their annual Snowshoe Stream Walk on Saturday, February 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Parking Lot in Big Indian, NY.
The walk will explore a stream with experienced environmental educators, investigate signs of local wildlife, and discover the importance of protecting our water resources.
After the walk, warm drinks and snacks will be provided around a campfire. Participants must be at least 7 years of age or older to snowshoe, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please leave your pets at home. Registration for this event is required.
