Beginners All Level YOGA

Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters

Early diagnosis gives people with Alzheimer’s disease the chance to make key decisions about treatment, care and planning and the power to make choices about their own health and future. This two-session, hour-long class will increase awareness of early detection, and provide information about memory loss, normal aging, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Learn the risk factors, 10 warning signs, the diagnostic process and resources to help.

Landscape Sketch Class

The course is a modified, online version of Zane Grey Plein Air 2020 Workshops. By offering a variety of community art events, Zane Grey Plein Art hopes to provide opportunities in Sullivan County for both beginners and experienced artists and to encourage public engagement in the arts on multiple levels.

Create original artworks based on the study of “Corot’s landscape sketches.” Students will select at least 5 “landscape” images that they have taken with their smartphone before the first session as subject matter with medium- to long-range views. This class will explore various approaches to styles.

Healthy Living for Your Brain & Body: Tips from Latest Research

For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging. Show Stopping Sides
