The John Burroughs Woodchuck Lodge in Roxbury, NY hosts Wild Saturday on Saturday October 7 at 1 PM featuring artist and painter Patrice Lorenz, whose works have been inspired by John Burroughs.
Catskill transplant Patrice found her way here twenty years ago. She resolved to spend her first year here as an observer of the landscape, the seasons and the wildlife. She discovered John Burroughs writings and used his work as a guide for “living in the blue urn”.
