School budget votes took place Tuesday May 20, 2025 across New York.
In Sullivan County, here are the unofficial results from each district:
In Eldred, voters approved the $20.3 million budget. They also approved a proposition to fund the Sunshine Hall Free Library.
In Fallsburg, the $65.2 million budget passed, reflecting a 2.78% increase from last year.
Liberty’s $68.5 million budget was also approved by voters.
Over in Monticello, the $103.5 million budget passed, along with a proposition to establish a $10 million capital reserve fund.
Rockland Central School District — the newly merged Livingston Manor and Roscoe districts — passed their $22.5 million budget, which includes a 3.2% increase.
In Sullivan West, voters approved the proposed school budget with 342 yes votes and 96 no votes.
Tri-Valley voters passed their $38 million budget, which represents a \ 2.14% increase over the current year.
That means all eight Sullivan County school districts passed their budgets for the upcoming school year.
