National Public Radio is reminding listeners that StoryCorps Connect is available as a free platform to share and record stories remotely using video conference technology. StoryCorps Griot is another StoryCorps initiative to “ensure that the voices, experiences, and life stories of African Americans will be preserved and presented with dignity.”

The Port Jervis/Deerpark Humane Society is seeking volunteers and members.  The Society serves as municipal dog control impound and for individual surrenders. Volunteers assist in ways beyond handling animals, including membership and community outreach.  The Humane Society is on Route 209, Port Jervis, NY.  For details, visit PJhumane.org.
