For more than 37 years, the Wildflower Music Festival on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary has presented quality music in a natural amphitheater, surrounded by majestic pines and summer breezes. But, like so many other events, this year’s festival has been canceled due to the pandemic. There’s one concert still on the bill that’s happening, however, the Pennsylvania band Colebrook Road. They’ve been described as “bridging the divide between straight-drive, traditional bluegrass and genre-warping progressive grass.” Wade Yankey from Colebrook Road told us how the musicians are faring during the pandemic and gave us a preview of their first socially distanced concert.
