Rachel Joy Scott was killed in the Columbine shooting and left behind a legacy of compassion. Her parents started an organization to spread that legacy, Rachel’s Challenge. The students and communities of Wayne County have participated in this project for 8 years by being kind, fostering respect, and preventing bullying. Darlene Miller and Margaret Ennis from the Wayne County Behavioral Health Department joined us to talk about Rachel’s Challenge. Plus, we discuss the impacts of isolation and loneliness during the pandemic.
