This week’s “Living Jazz” show will feature a selection of the vocalists singled out in the recent Downbeat magazine Jazz Critics Poll.
We’ll listen to perennial favorites such as Kurt Elling, Cecile McLoran Salvant, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Bobby McFerrin, and Gregory Porter, as well as some of the extraordinary new talents who have emerged in the last few years, including Jazzmeia Horn, Melody Gardot, Veronica Swift, Kandace Springs, Jose James, and Jacob Collier.
