Pike County Human Services Offers Rental Assistance for Residents in Need
MILFORD, PA ― Pike County Human Services is pleased to announce the availability of
rental assistance funds through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
program. This initiative aims to support Pike County residents who are experiencing
financial difficulties and struggling to keep up with their rent payments.
The CDBG Rental Assistance program provides eligible households with up to $3,000.00
in rental assistance, which is paid directly to landlords on behalf of qualified tenants.
This assistance can be a vital resource for those who have fallen behind on rent due to
unforeseen circumstances and need support to maintain stable housing.
To qualify, applicants must be residents of Pike County and currently behind on rent.
Funding for this program is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Community
and Economic Development, and it seeks to promote housing stability within our
community by offering temporary financial relief to those who need it most.
Residents interested in applying can visit the Pike County Human Services website at

65 year old woman with a dog(support). I have been staying where I’m not wanted. Been searching every low income senior housing for months. Marketplace as well!
The state of Pennsylvania wouldn’t give it to me despite an accountant’s belief because I formerly lived in New Jersey. It was due to inherited income.
