Tim Bruno is Radio Catskill’s general manager and the host of its weekday local news and talk show Radio Chatskill. He previously served as a vice president for event production and talent relations for Viacom Entertainment Group, where he developed and co-produced multiple, yearly broadcast events across Spike TV, TV Land and Comedy Central. He was also a longtime staffer at NBC News, first as a producer for Dateline, where he received an Emmy Award for outstanding analysis of a news story, and then as a supervising producer for TODAY. He is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington.

Mimi Bradley is the development and operations manager for Radio Catskill. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years, raising millions of dollars through individual donations, private foundations, government grants and corporate partnerships. Previously, she was director of operations for the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, director of development for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, and co-director of development for American Ballet Theatre, where she was instrumental in securing its Congressional designation as America’s National Ballet Company. She is a graduate of Bennington College.

Jason Dole is Radio Catskill’s program director and the host of Local Edition, the daily news and information program serving the Sullivan County Catskills and northeast Pennsylvania. He has also worked as a reporter for The Watershed Post, as an assistant editor for the weekly Towne Crier, and as the midday host on the Bold Gold Media Group’s Thunder102. He has won multiple Excellence in Broadcasting and Serving New York Awards from the New York State Broadcasters Association, and in 2020, he was voted “Best Radio Personality” by readers of The River Reporter. As a performer, he has danced and sung on local, regional, and national stages, including runs at both the 13th Street Repertory Theatre and the Peoples’ Improv Theatre in New York City, as well as performances at Lollapalooza in Chicago, The Austin City Limits Festival, and World Café Live in Philadelphia. He is a graduate of SUNY Sullivan.

Patricio Robayo is a multi-platform producer for Radio Catskill and a reporter for the Sullivan County Democrat. He has been instrumental in developing the station’s local newsroom and forging partnerships with other local news outlets to provide comprehensive coverage of the Sullivan County Catskills and northeast Pennsylvania. His reporting spans politics, social justice issues and environmental matters, and he has received accolades from the New York State Broadcasters Association and the New York Press Association, as well as Chess Journalists of America, for a story about the game’s growing popularity in Sullivan County. He is a graduate of Purchase College.

Kimberly Izar is Radio Catskill’s multimedia reporter. She is passionate about local news and solutions journalism that responds to community needs and interests. She has covered issues ranging from food insecurity, urban agriculture, public housing, segregation, and reproductive healthcare for communities of color, and her work has been featured in NPR, Gothamist, WBAI, The Jersey Bee, Next City, and others.

She has received awards for her local news reporting in New York City and New Jersey from the Center for Cooperative Media, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the College Media Association. She is a graduate of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and Northeastern University.

Ronald Kelson is Radio Catskill’s Radio Operations and Production Coordinator. He produces Farm & Country which airs Saturday mornings at 10:00 am, and the Prevention, Progress & Hope podcast with SALT. He assists in show promotion and coordinates with volunteer show hosts. Ronald also produced the One Small Step program with Radio Catskill, which brought strangers with different political beliefs together for a conversation.  For this campaign Radio Catskill won a 2025 Serving New York award from the New York State Broadcaster’s Association.  He is a life-long resident of Sullivan County and holds an Associate’s Degree from SUNY Ulster.

Pete Madden is an award-winning investigative producer, reporter and editor, currently managing enterprise projects for the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University. As a member of the ABC News Investigative Unit, he developed groundbreaking investigations for print and broadcast and contributed coverage of national security, political corruption and human rights to Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, Nightline and 20/20, as well as ESPN and FiveThirtyEight. Previously, he was a senior producer at Sports Illustrated, where he co-reported the magazine’s “First Golfer” feature about President Donald Trump’s global golf business. His work has earned two Edward R. Murrow Awards and a Scripps Howard Award, and he was an Ottaway Foundation-sponsored visiting professor of journalism at SUNY New Paltz in 2023. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the Columbia Journalism School.

Amy Brightfield is the health and features director of Better Homes and Gardens, where she covers health and wellness, nutrition, fitness, family, money and travel. Previously, she was the health director at Woman’s Day, senior health editor at Fitness, and health and fitness editor at Seventeen. She appears regularly on national and local television, including TODAY, Live with Kelly and Mark, Good Morning America, Good Day New York and Cheddar TV. Her work has been recognized by the Society for Professional Journalists, and she was selected as a National Press Foundation fellow in 2018. She is a graduate of Brandeis University and the Columbia Journalism School.

Jill Fruchter is a user researcher, product development and customer experience strategist who works in both the private and nonprofit sectors, helping organizations center customer needs and goals in their strategic planning and design processes — from generative insights that inspire creativity and innovation to evaluative research and metrics that prioritize and track continuous improvement. In 2022, she founded Field Notes Consulting, a research services practice. Prior to starting her own venture, Jill served as vice president of customer research and product experience insights at Blue Apron, and also created digital content and user experiences for Etsy, The New York Times, and The Brooklyn Museum. She is currently a visiting assistant professor at Pratt Institute and holds degrees from Wesleyan University and Pratt Institute’s School of Information.

Leif Johansen (Vice President)  is a community advocate with deep roots in public service, nonprofit leadership and higher education. He served as an international college admissions officer at the University of Rochester until 2025, where he led recruitment efforts and cultivated educational partnerships across Southeast Asia, Europe and Canada. He was previously a legislative aide for both the New York State Senate and the New York State Assembly, as well as a congressional campaign organizer. Since 2021, he has hosted Radio Catskill’s Close to Home, which highlights rural policy issues and amplifies local voices. He is also the founder and president of the Grace Johansen Foundation, which promotes youth community engagement in the Catskills and Upper Delaware regions, and a member of the board of trustees at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance. He holds an M.S. from the University of Rochester in Education Policy with an Advanced Certificate in Program Evaluation, and is a recipient of the Logan R. Hazen Award for Educational Leadership..

Katie Childs is a seasoned product development, marketing, and business consultant with over two decades of experience in the personal care and wellness industries. She has developed innovative products for prestigious clients, including American Airlines, Atlantis Resorts and Virgin Hotels, and she has crafted transformative wellness programs for top-tier brands like Canyon Ranch, Miraval and Celebrity Cruises. She has managed global teams and established a global distribution network that spans Dubai, Hong Kong and Japan. A classically trained opera singer, she attended Florida State University and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queen’s College.

Donald Almquist is the owner and founder of Creative Film Cars, which has provided picture vehicles for use in television, film, advertising and events for over two decades. Previously, he worked at State Street Bank and Fidelity Investments as a network administrator, programmer, team leader and project manager. In 2015, he established the experimental music and art collective NFS, and he continues to be an active creator in music, film, performance and photography. He is a graduate of Boston University.

Jeff Barnes is an independent consultant. Previously, he was an associate director at Accenture, one of the world’s largest consultancies, where he set global sales enablement practice standards. He directed sales pitch development for many of Accenture’s largest winning deals, and he has expertise in sales strategy, project management and proposal development. He was also a bid/proposal management department lead at Wipro Technologies and a proposal manager at BearingPoint/KPMG Consulting. Since 2024, he has hosted Radio Catskill’s Electric Mountain, where he spins the best global dance music from back in the day to today. He is a graduate of Brown University.

Dale Blagrove is a licensed real estate salesperson for Keller Williams Realty Hudson Valley United, servicing both New York and Pennsylvania. In addition, he serves as a digital navigator for the Western Sullivan Public Library, assisting members of the public with technology support and teaching basic digital literacy skills. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.

Barbara Demarest retired from a career in information systems and securities operations in the financial services industry, serving as a vice president at Merrill Lynch and Prudential Financial. She has also served as an officer and trustee on a number of nonprofit boards, including Impact100 Garden State, the Washington Association of New Jersey, and Preschool Advantage. She is a graduate of Colgate University, the University of Toronto and NYU’s School of Business.

Matthew Goldman has been pursuing careers and pastimes all united by the desire to bring people together in creative and meaningful ways since his involvement in the New Jersey pop punk scene in the late 1990s. This passion later led him to perform and record with the band Steel Train, touring overseas and through every major US market, and, ultimately, to private high school education. In addition to teaching AP US History courses, Goldman designed and oversaw the implementation of a network-wide history curriculum, giving annual professional development workshops to enhance teaching practices and student learning. Most recently, he was the dean of high school students at BASIS Independent Brooklyn, where he was responsible for all aspects of student support and community building throughout the upper school. Goldman has turned his passion for history, music, education, and building community to Ellenville, NY, and The Common Good, a community hub where visitors can find a wide array of books, craft cocktails, coffee, unique gifts, and space to congregate, collaborate, connect and unwind.

Brett Hogancamp is a community-centered professional with a diverse background spanning regenerative agriculture, operations, construction management, and education. He is the founder of White Stag Farms, a regenerative farm focused on sustainable food systems and environmental stewardship. In addition to running the farm, Hogancamp oversees day-to-day operations and long-term development at Camp White Stag, where he leads a staff of 25 and manages major infrastructure projects, including site planning, facility construction, zoning initiatives, and safety systems. He holds a dual degree in History and Education, originally intending to teach at the college level before his passion for hands-on, land-based work led him to build a life rooted in community and environmental advocacy. Hogancamp brings strong skills in communication, leadership, and community engagement, which have been key to the success of both his business ventures. He has also been an active volunteer in local schools, food co-ops, and civic events, where he teaches children and families about sustainable living and local food systems. With a practical, grounded approach and a deep commitment to the region, Brett is driven to support projects that strengthen connection, inclusion, and long-term resilience in the Catskills and Northeast Pennsylvania.

Tanya Kalivas is an attorney for Novartis, the global pharmaceutical company, providing legal support for its neuroscience and immunology divisions. Previously, she counseled clients on contracts, trademarks, and sports law for Arnold & Porter and advised on compliance matters, anti-bribery and anti-money laundering at Tiffany & Co. A former member of the Greek National Soccer Team, she competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. She is a graduate of Princeton University and Fordham School of Law.

Ilya Marritz is an award-winning investigative journalist, currently on special assignment for The Boston Globe. Previously, he covered Trump legal matters for NPR and threats to democracy for ProPublica and co-hosted the #1 hit podcast “Will Be Wild” about the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. He worked for two decades at WNYC Radio, where he co-hosted the duPont award-winning podcast “Trump, Inc.” His work has been seen in The New Yorker, TIME, New York and The New York Daily News, and he has appeared on CBS, CNN, PBS and MSNBC. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and a 2024 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.

Elizabeth Hope Williams is a filmmaker with Rain Media based in the Catskills and NYC.  Williams joined Rain Media in 2022 as an associate producer for their three-part documentary series America and the Taliban, which investigates how America’s 20-year investment in Afghanistan culminated in Taliban victory after two decades of mistakes, miscalculations, and hubris.  Williams comes from a theatrical background as a performer, writer, and collaborator.  Her interest lies in the partnership between language, movement, and imagery to communicate a narrative of shared human experience. Elizabeth recently co-produced  the two-hour documentary  China, the U.S. and the Rise of Xi Jinping. She is currently working on a one hour film about Syria after the fall of the Assad Regime to air in July 2025. She studied film at the Freie Universitat in Berlin and graduated magna cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BFA in musical theatre and an emphasis on political science.  Williams lives in the Catskills with her husband and three daughters. In addition to her work with Rain Media, she is delving back into the world of theatre performance and storytelling, having recently performed in a production of “Half Life” at The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre.
