The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) is currently accepting proposals for solo, two-person, group, and curated exhibitions to be featured in their 2026 exhibition season. The deadline for applications is January 31, 2025.
The DVAA, located at 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY, offers two exhibition spaces: the Alliance Gallery (340 sq. ft. with 104 linear feet of wall space and 9-foot ceilings) and the Loft Gallery (710 sq. ft. with 100 linear feet of wall space and ceilings ranging from 7 to 8 feet 10 inches). The Loft Gallery is handicapped accessible. The organization is open to all media and styles, including installations and exhibition proposals by guest curators. They emphasize showcasing the work of emerging and professional artists residing in or connected to the Mid-Hudson, Catskill, or Upper Delaware River Regions.
Interested artists must submit an online application through the DVAA website, including a bio, artist statement, list of works, and 10-15 images. A jury of three to five visual arts professionals, selected by the DVAA, will review applications anonymously and make their selections based solely on the submitted images. The DVAA uses a “blind-jurying process” where applicants are identified by a number instead of their names.
The DVAA will email all applicants in early April 2025. Artists who have previously received a solo exhibition at the DVAA are eligible to apply again after five years.
The DVAA’s exhibition program also includes pop-up exhibitions, artist talks, and related programs throughout the year. For further information, contact Tanner Simon, Gallery Manager, at 845-252-7576 or gallery@delawarevalleyartsalliance.org.
