The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance hosts its its 2025 Salon Series with “Resounding Women: Music of Chaminade, Clarke, and Shaw” performed by the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra on Saturday March 22nd at 2 PM at the Krause Recital Hall in Narrowsburg, NY.
Continuing DVAA’s celebration of Women’s History Month, the SCCO will perform two piano trios and a solo cello work by monumental maestras of composition. SCCO will perform a program of music by female composers, including Piano Trio No. 1 in G minor by Cécile Chaminade, In manus tuas by Caroline Shaw, and Piano Trio by Rebecca Clarke. Performers include Akiko Hosoi on violin, Kirsten Jermé on cello, and a pianist TBA.
