Sullivan County District Attorney Brian P. Conaty announced the hiring of David Myers as a district attorney investigator, adding a veteran law enforcement officer to the office’s investigative team.
Myers joins the District Attorney’s Office following a decorated career with the New York State Police. He began his law enforcement career with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in 2001 and joined the New York State Police in 2005 as a uniformed trooper.
In 2012, Myers was promoted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, where he has spent the past nine years assigned as a major crimes investigator. During that time, he handled complex and often violent criminal cases, experience Conaty said will be a benefit to the county.
“Having Investigator Myers with his experience in the District Attorney’s Office is an asset for Sullivan County law enforcement and the county residents who we serve,” Conaty said. “I welcome him to our team.”
Myers will assist prosecutors with investigations and case preparation as part of his new role in the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office.

Great, more people who will arrest innocent people instead of the real criminals
