“The Working Pike Job Fair presents a valuable opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers, learn about local positions, and discuss credentials, all at no cost. Whether you are entering the workforce for the first time or looking to advance your career, we are here to help you succeed.”
— Cindy DeFebo, director, Pike County Career Center
Last year’s event drew upward of 350 job seekers from Pike, Monroe, Wayne, Sullivan, Orange and Sussex counties, and organizers anticipate an even larger turnout in 2026. Attendees will receive an employer directory listing participating companies and available positions.
This year’s sponsors include Lackawanna College Lake Region Center, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Bold Gold Media Group, Neversink Media, and Mr. Shane’s Restaurant at the Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing.
Working Pike is a community organization dedicated to strengthening the region through partnerships among government, community and faith-based groups.
The Career Center is available to assist job seekers with resume updates before the fair and may be able to provide professional interview attire through its clothes closet. To schedule an appointment, call (570) 296-2909.
Employers seeking to exhibit at the fair can register online through the Career Center page at pikepa.org/careercenter. The registration fee is $60, payable by check or credit card; a 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments. Registration closes Wednesday, March 31.
