Delaware Highlands Conservancy offers a variety of programing at the Van Scott Nature Reserve in Beach Lake throughout December.  On Friday, December 13 from 1-2 pm, the program is “Boundin’ Furbearers“.

This program explores many of the various furry animals that live in the woods around us.  This program is intended for elementary-age kids and families.

Podcasting for Teens will meet on Saturdays at 10am from November 2nd to December 14th at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library. This 6-week series will explore the craft and process of podcasting start to finish, for teens ages 13-18. Participants will learn how to conceptualize, draft, record and edit their own podcast, and completed projects will then be broadcast on WJFF Radio Catskill. Participants are expected to attend all six sessions and can register online at WSPLonline.org.

SUNY Sullivan holds Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic and Refresher courses beginning February 25, 2025, at the Loch Sheldrake campus. These classes are designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in emergency medical services or current EMTs looking to refresh their certification. Classes run twice a week for 10 weeks.
