The $2,000 scholarship is open to students in school districts bordering the Upper Delaware River in New York and Pennsylvania and is open to high school seniors pursuing a career in education or environmentalstewardship.

Wayne Memorial Hospital’s Hospice team, part of its Home Health Department, is looking for volunteers and offering training on April 22nd and April 29th from 9am to 4pm and one evening in May, date to be determined.
When a patient’s life expectancy is limited, Wayne Memorial offers comfort just a phone call away. The Hospice team provides a full range of compassionate care for the dying so they may live their lives to the fullest. Volunteers can help both the patient and the team in many ways.
