The Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) is holding their 9th annual seasonal/holiday art sale, Art Under $100+. This year’s ArtUnder$100+ is a month-long seasonal pop-up event that takes place at WCAA Headquarters throughout both floors, located at 959 Main Street in Honesdale. The sale opens November 29 and winds up on Sunday, December 28th. Hours of operation are Wednesdays through Sundays from 11-4 and open until 6 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

Walk-Thru Mondays encourages staying active and connected during the winter months while supporting causes that serve neighbors in need. Four themed nights are planned:
- December 1 –School Spirit Night: Schools are encouraged to showcase their colors and creativity.
- December 8 – First Responder Night: Kick off the Healthiest Fire Department Challenge and celebrate our local heroes.
- December 15 – Healthcare Night: Healthcare professionals are invited to unwind and walk with colleagues.
- December 22 – Holiday Spirit Night: Dress in your most festive attire and bring a toy or nonperishable food item for one free adult admission.

The Upper Delaware Council’s three standing committees will each meet on Tuesday, December 16th, in person at the office in Narrowsburg, NY with a remote Zoom option. There will be no committee meetings on the typical third or fourth Tuesday of the month due to a revised holiday schedule.
The Operations Committee meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and includes the Executive Director’s report, review of financial data, and discussion of old and new business.
The Project Review Committee will convene at approximately 7:00 p.m. and include the UDC Resource and Land Use Specialist’s monthly Discussion Items Report, project updates, and old and new business.
The Water Use/Resource Management Committee will get underway at approximately 7:30 p.m. and includes updates on meetings, projects, and organizations associated with the Upper Delaware River Valley’s natural, cultural, recreational, and geological resources.

Headwaters Arts Center in Stamford, NY is providing an opportunity for community members to join in the old tradition of holiday gift making with three free crafting events on Saturday December 6th, Friday December 12th and Saturday December 20th, each from 12–2pm.
These special crafting events will include making felt ornaments (day one), creating unique gift wrapping (day two) and building gingerbread houses out of nontraditional materials (day three). Gingerbread house building will be part of Headwaters’ festive holiday party for the community on the final day of Homemade Holidays, to which folks of all ages are invited to enjoy snacks, drinks and plenty of opportunities for creating.
