The Bethel Business Association will sponsor the “Bethel Big Burn”, a large public bonfire and community celebration on the evening of February 15, from 4-10pm at the Alton Distillery on 17B in Bethel. The Burn will kick off the King of the Ice Fishing Festival which begins the next morning on Kauneonga Lake which is sponsored by the Sullivan County Conservation Club.
The public can donate used Christmas Trees for the Big Burn by dropping the trees at the firepit in the front of Alton Distillery.
