Garnet Health Medical Center and Garnet Health Medical – Catskills have partnered with the Town of Wallkill Boys and Girls Club to host a school-supply drive for families in Orange and Sullivan counties.
The initiative provides backpacks filled with essential school supplies—including pencils, notebooks, binders, glue sticks, crayons, scissors, and lunchboxes—to children from qualifying families, based on income and need.
Thanks to contributions from staff and community members, Garnet Health collected 18 boxes of supplies, helping local students start the school year prepared.
“We’re so thrilled by the generous donation of school supplies from Garnet Health this year!” said Sophie Samul, development and communications manager at the Town of Wallkill Boys and Girls Club. “Community means everything to us here at The Club, and we are only able to touch as many lives as we do thanks to Garnet Health and our other local partners. Thanks to their support, we are able to provide over 300 children with the essential tools they need to thrive this school year. We are truly grateful for Garnet Health’s partnership!”
