Farm and Country at its best.
Please consider sharing this piece with other public and commercial stations, with Cornell Cooperative Extension chapters throughout the state, New Farmer Programs in the area, the the NYS SMALL FARM PRGRAM, with the NYS Farm Bureau, with NOFA/northeast organization farm association. and of course with NPR nationally. Surely they must give special recognition to usual programs produced by public radio stations.
Hope you will plan other shows on similar critical issues in our area.
This sort of disruption of agriculture is happening all over the world. Your piece on our local area really helps us understand it. I worry that we are not preparing to face the enormous disruptions to our food system that will result from climate change. We need to be preparing to welcome climate refugees and to conserve food resources. Thanks for making this terrific program. I agree that it should be widely distributed.
