Award Winning Singer/Songwriter Abbie Gardner to Perform in Hurleyville to benefit WJFF Radio Catskill!
WJFF Radio Catskill and the Friends of Maris Hearn invite you to join us for the 12th Anniversary Maris Hearn Life Celebration Concert. This year’s concert will feature singer / songwriter Abbie Gardner. The performance will be held at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main Street, Hurleyville, Saturday, June 9th. Music starts at 7PM. Doors open at 6:00.
Abbie Gardner is a seasoned performer and gifted singer who spent eleven years touring with the Americana band Red Molly. After gracing stages from Denver to Denmark to Australia to Austin, the band decided to take a hiatus, and Abbie is now stepping out on her own. Three of her recently produced CDs have award-winning songs. She is a fiery dobro player whose style has been described as something between Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt.
The concert will honor Maris Hearn, a long time WJFF friend and volunteer. Proceeds will benefit WJFF.
There will be a special performance by folksingers David and Julie Bloch. Little Sparrow will open the show.
Join us at the Sullivan County Museum in Hurleyville for an evening of heartwarming music, food and friends. Feel free to bring a dish or an appetizer to share. Admission is $10.00 (no one turned away). For more information call 845 482-4141 or 845 434-8044.
