LIBERTY, NY — The Liberty Public Library Board of Trustees will host a public hearing on its proposed 2026-27 budget on Tuesday, March 31, at 6 p.m. The meeting will give voters a chance to review and comment on the budget.
Copies of the proposed budget will be available starting Friday, March 20, at 1 p.m. at the library, located at 189 North Main St., Liberty, NY 12754.
The library’s budget vote and trustee election are scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the library. Residents of the Liberty Central School District who are registered to vote in school elections—or who have voted in any of the last four school or general elections—are already eligible to vote in the library election.
New residents of the district who wish to vote must register at the Liberty Central School Business Office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. through April 2.
