Local musician Doug Rogers put together an amazing band. They called themselves “Beat the Devil,” rocked Rafter’s Tavern in the fall, practiced all winter long, and anticipated a big return to live performance this spring. But then… well, you know what happened. Now, after seven long months, Beat the Devil is ready to play their first live gig since the pandemic hit. Doug tells us all about his band and The Harvest Benefit: a social-distance fundraiser for Farm Arts Collective.
