Queer Rock Bands Set to ‘Rock the Roof’ at The Darby

Update: Due to expected rain, this event was moved to The Darby in Beach Lake, P.A. It was previously scheduled at The Cochecton Pump House.

Get ready to ‘Rock the Roof’ off on Saturday, September 6, at The Darby in Beach Lake, P.A. Tracy City, We Were Werewolves, and Basic Bitches is the trio of all queer, all rock bands gearing up for a free music show this Saturday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Tif Wolf and Terry LaFrazia from We Were Werewolves described their band’s sound as face-melting, catchy dark disco beat that are sure to get the crowd moving. Wolf said bringing together a night filled with queer rock music was a no brainer.

“Given the times, it’s just nice to have a release, somewhere to go and jump around and scream and sing along and be joyful and angry all at the same time,” said Wolf.

Radio Catskill’s Kimberly Izar spoke with Wolf and LaFrazia from We Were Werewolves about what attendees can expect and the inspiration behind their latest EP, The Red Hook Demos.
