From Mixtape host Jason Tougaw:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this special program has moved to July 12 only.
Dear friends,
You probably know it’s the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising. For the upcoming WJFF pledge drive, I’ll be doing special 2-hour episodes of The Mixtape featuring music that was on the jukebox at The Stonewall Inn in 1969—when the people decided to fight back and change the world. That jukebox was FULL of great music, and I’m pretty excited to play it.
The first episode will be tomorrow, July 5, 7 to 9 PM, with special guest David Driver (!). You may know that Driver produced and hosted the Songs from the Stonewall Jukebox extravaganza at Symphony Space recently. I’ll interview him about the jukebox, the uprising, and the show.
The second episode is July 12, 7 – 9 PM, with, with special guest Erin Dudley of the Hurleyville Arts Centre, which is producing an amazing Fifty Years of Love and Pride day on July 27. We’re hoping to have some other special guests that day too.
I wrote a little something about Stonewall, if you’re interested.
You may also know that some exciting things are happening at WJFF, including a big move that means even more community involvement, collaborations with local organizations, and improved facilities—with an outdoor events space. We could really use your support, if now is a good time to give. We love pledges in any amount, from $5 to $5 million!

Note: We’re starting an hour early, at 7 PM..
