Not-for-profit agencies in Sullivan County can now apply for funding through the 2025 Legislative Discretionary Contract Program. The Sullivan County Legislature announced the program’s application period is officially open.
The program aims to support a range of community needs, including public safety, public health, youth services, community development, economic development, environmental hazard mitigation, and county beautification. Funds are limited, and applicants must demonstrate a clear justification for their funding request in relation to these goals.
To be eligible, applicants must be not-for-profit agencies or civic organizations operating within Sullivan County and not part of the County government.
A new, streamlined application form is available on the Sullivan County website, www.sullivanny.gov. The form is designed to simplify the application process and can be submitted online as a fillable PDF.
Applications can be submitted via email to Deputy Sullivan County Manager Michelle Huck at michelle.huck@sullivanny.gov, along with supporting documentation. Alternatively, applications and supporting documents can be mailed or hand-delivered to the Office of the Sullivan County Manager, c/o Michelle Huck, County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello, NY 12701.
The County Legislature will review all submitted applications.
