The Wayne County Food Pantry Program conducts monthly distributions of supplemental food items at each of its five locations during the month of July.
- The Damascus Pantry at the Township Building on Conklin Hill Road provides groceries on Thursday, July 15, from 1 to 3 pm.
- The Honesdale Pantry location at the Tri-County Beverage Building, 214 Willow Avenue, will be serving registered families Tuesday, July 13, from 10 am to 1 pm.
- On Thursday, July 22, the Lakeville Pantry will hold a food distribution from 11 am to 2 pm.
The Lakewood Food Pantry at the Northern Wayne Health Center at 412 Como Road, Lake Como distributes food on Wednesday, July 21, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. - Friday, July 9, the Newfoundland Area Pantry will distribute groceries from 11 am to 1 pm at the Dreher Township Building, 899 Main Street, in Newfoundland.
To receive food assistance from the Wayne County Food Pantry, call the Area Agency on Aging Office at 570-253-4262 to register. Due to COVID-19, there are special protocols in place regarding social distancing and other mitigation measures. The details are available at http://www.WayneCountyPA.gov.
