Together, we will delve into the enchanting music of Sonny Rollins, a true legend among jazz sax-players and composers. Kevin had the honor of touring with Sonny Rollins in the mid-1990s, making his insights and performances invaluable.

Our playlist will take us through the timeless wonders of his 1956 collaborations with Max Roach and Clifford Brown, the mesmerizing “A Night at the Village Vanguard” in 1957, his remarkable 1962 performances at The Village Gate with the brilliant cornetist Don Cherry, and the unforgettable 1967 tour of Holland featuring the Dutch drummer Han Bennink.
