Dr. Jean Carlos Cowan, Professor, has been teaching at Orange County Community College since the year 2000.

He was awarded a dual PhD from the SUNY Albany in Spanish Literature and Latin American History and Politics from LACS (Latino American and Caribbean Studies Department) in 2006.

Liza Fuentes is a research scientist at the Guttmacher Institute, a research and policy organization focused on reproductive rights. 

Fuentes’ studies focus on access to and the use of contraception, abortion, abortion restrictions, self-managed abortion, reproductive autonomy and clinical training in reproductive health.
