This Saturday is the 20th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks—a day of remembrance and reflection. Join Radio Catskill for live special coverage from Weekend Edition and NPR News starting at 8am.

Coverage continues in the afternoon with in-depth features from the BBC, Peace Talks Radio, and The History Channel/WNYC Studios. Note – times and programs are subject to change pending any breaking news.

8-10am Special Coverage from Weekend Edition and NPR News Including live coverage ceremonies at Arlington and New York City with readings of names of those who were lost, tolling of the bells, and moments of silence. President Joe Biden may make live remarks at one of these ceremonies.

10am-Noon Special Coverage from Weekend Edition and NPR News (Continues) Including live coverage of the ceremony at the Flight 93 Memorial in Pennsylvania and expected remarks from former President George W. Bush. Noon 9/11 – The Day That Changed Our Lives Forever An hour-long special from the BBC World Service features New Yorkers telling their stories of 9/11.

1pm Peace Talks Radio – 9/11 Families for Peaceful Tomorrows Three people who lost family members in the September 11th terrorist attacks talk about turning their grief into action for peace.

2pm-4pm Blindspot: The Road to 9/11 This in-depth 2-hour feature from The History Channel and WNYC Studios focuses on the decade that led up to the 9/11 attacks while telling the story of an Egyptian-born civilian who infiltrates a terrorist cell for the FBI.
