(OCT 5) This coming Sunday, historian and author Susan Stessin-Cohn and educator Albert Cook will share and discuss an often-missing chapter of our local Catskills and Hudson Valley history. The virtual talk: “In Defiance – Resistance and the Persistence of Racism in American History,” is part of the Ashokan Center’s Catskills Conversations series. Stessin-Cohn and Cook spoke to us about their presentation and what the implications of this history are for us here and now.
