Listen: Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County Offer Classes Online, By Phone, And By Mail

Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County offer a wide range of services, from classes to an affordable bookstore, and they aren’t stopping during the pandemic. In a May 1 interview with WJFF’s Jason Dole, Executive Director Angela Dutcher explains what they’re doing, with classes for English as a second language, high school equivalency, and more moving online, by phone, and by mail. Tutors can still sign up and receive training remotely, as well. And they’re even making some books available from The Read It Again Bookstore: check out their Facebook page for details.
