Listen: Save Our Stages, Forestburgh Playhouse

Posted on September 30, 2020 by Amy B

(SEPT 29) Many businesses have reopened, but many, including the performing arts, are still facing challenges. The actors, musicians, artists, technicians, and workers who make a living by gathering people together can’t do that right now. And time is running out for them to get the assistance they need to survive until they can perform again. Franklin Trapp, Producing Artistic Director of the Forestburgh Playhouse, is spreading the word on behalf of all the live stage venues in Sullivan County and the surrounding region and urging people to demand support for rhe Save our Stages and RESTART Acts, which are bipartisan, bicameral legislation that’s waiting to go in Washington.
