Listen: The Forestburgh Playhouse Cancelled Its Mainstage Summer Season, But Stays Optimistic

After cancelling their mainstage summer season, The Forestburgh Playhouse’s Producing Artistic Director, Franklin Trapp, told WJFF they’re still working hard on possible performances this year, and grateful for the community’s continued backing. “I’m humbled by the huge support that we’re getting,” he told Jason Dole, in an interview on May 1. “We need it, and it feels good.” As the oldest operating professional summer theatre in New York, The Forestburgh Playhouse will celebrate their 75th anniversary in 2021.
