The National Park Service has issued a warning that an invasive species of fish, the northern snakehead, was recently caught near Callicoon. If you believe you have caught one, do not release it, but kill it and freeze it. Then contact Don Hamilton at 570-493-1022 at the NPS, or isinfo@dec.ny.gov.
