ORANGE COUNTY, NY — Three men were arrested in a multiagency child exploitation sting in the Hudson Valley, authorities announced, part of an undercover operation targeting individuals seeking to meet minors online for sexual activity.
The New York State Police, working with the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Newburgh Police Department, the Hudson Valley Crime Analysis Center, and the New York State Intelligence Center, carried out the operation over several days. The operation involved highly trained undercover officers using advanced cyber tactics to identify individuals seeking to meet minors online for sexual purposes. The investigation led to the identification and apprehension of multiple suspects involved in child exploitation and trafficking.
The arrests include:
- Lance S. Gold, 20, of Unionville, N.Y., charged with attempted rape in the second degree, attempted endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated patronizing a minor for prostitution in the second degree. Gold is in the Orange County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond, and $15,000 partially secured bond, and is scheduled for Town of Newburgh Court on March 30, 2026.
- Kurbonsho Davronov, 28, of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., charged with the same offenses as Gold. Davronov is also in the Orange County Jail under identical bail conditions and court date.
- Kevin Abraham, 29, of Valley Cottage, N.Y., facing the same charges, is remanded with the same bail and court appearance.
Investigators said historical investigations into these suspects will continue.
