“Wayne County Woodsmen’s Competition”

The 37th Wayne County Woodmen’s Competition, this Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1 pm in front of the grandstand at the Wayne County Fair in Honesdale, PA… Men – and Women will be showing off their professional skills in the timber harvesting industry.

Watch them as they wield axes, chainsaws, and other equipment as they compete in a series of individual and doubles events such as Axe Throwing, Chain Sawing, Crosscut, and Log Rolling.

Here to tell us more about this event is Kelley Stewart, Forestry Specialist Wayne Conservation District.
