“Energy Tax, What’s going on?”

Last during the pandemic the Sullivan County Legislature voted last year to install a 4 percent tax on energy usage.

At a recent meeting, they voted to remove all the tax but the electricity.

But many are confused about the wording of the bill. With a re-vote coming up this Thursday, Radio Catskill’s Patricio Robayo spoke to Joseph Abraham, the Managing Editor for the Sullivan County Democrat to see if he could clear up the confusion.
