Wayne County Update

“Today’s Main Ingredient Podcast”

Today’s Main Ingredient Podcast is designed to help people bring local, farm-fresh food to the table. Each week the podcast focuses on a specific ingredient – mostly vegetables.

The podcast is done by Producer Jane Bollinger and hosted by Wayne County’s own Mikki Uzupes. The show lines up farmers to talk about the ingredients in the field, including pests, disease, climate, and other challenges. And We have them both on the phone.

“Hispanic Heritage Month”

Each year,  National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 to October 15, and it celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

And here on The Local Edition for Hispanic Heritage Month we will be speaking to guests to talk about issues facing the Hispanic and Latino communities in our listening area.

All this and more on The Local Edition, Community News for the Catskills, and Northeast Pennsylvania.

Weekdays at 6:30 p.m. on Radio Catskill
