Kingston, NY – The City of Kingston is inviting the community to participate in a Community Open House and Youth Guided Site Walk on Tuesday, May 13, from 5 – 7 PM at the Broadway Bubble, located at 718 Broadway. The event aims to gather public input on the design of the new Midtown Linear Park.
The Open House will feature drawings and diagrams showcasing the site’s context, history, ecology, and community aspects. Attendees can participate in guided site walks led by the Kingston YMCA Farm Project, providing an opportunity to experience the site firsthand.
The City encourages community members to share their feedback, observations, and ideas for the park’s future. This includes input on the types of programs and activities that could be offered within the park.
This event is just one of several community engagement activities for the Midtown Linear Park Community Space design project. Those unable to attend the Open House can find the full schedule of events, participate in a short survey, and learn more about the project on the City’s website: participate.ulstercountyny.gov/midtown-linear-park.
