The 19th Congressional District of New York extends from Tompkins County in the west to Columbia County in the east, covering a vast area of the state, including parts of the Catskills, Hudson Valley, Southern Tier, and Finger Lakes regions.
Incumbent Representative Marc Molinaro, a former mayor and Dutchess County executive, is preparing for a rematch in the 2024 election against Democrat Josh Riley, a Harvard-educated attorney and former congressional aide. Their first contest in 2022 was fiercely competitive, with Molinaro narrowly winning the seat.
