Penn State Extension is presenting the live, virtual webinar, Mental Health First Aid for Adults Working with Youth on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 8:45 AM. Participants must register by Thursday, July 16, 2026

.  Mental Health First Aid for Adults Working with Youth” is designed to teach adults who regularly interact with young people how to provide initial support to youth experiencing mental health or addiction challenges and assist them in finding the help and care they need. Certified instructors from Penn State Extension deliver the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course, which includes 2 hours of self-paced online learning followed by a 6-hour, instructor-led virtual class. The course features interactive activities and opportunities to practice support strategies.
